Christmas reminds me that I believe in God, and in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world.

And that’s an important thing to reflect on. In my busyness, I don’t always take the opportunity to really think about my Christian faith and what it means.

So, I wrote Advent devotionals out of a desire to reflect on the Christian faith with you. For so long, I kept these reflections close to my heart and away from others, thinking, “Nobody wants apologetics at Christmas. Like, what is wrong with you, MJ?” But here they are… And by deeply reflecting on my beliefs, I have truly received some of that awe and wonder lost in the struggle of adulthood.
